This weekend had been rather eventful for me .... Metup wif xueli at chinatown after my guitar class on fri after work , siong eng was supposed to meet us too ... bt apparently her house was break into so gotta rush back home to take care of things .... so the 2 of us went aimlessly to Mu Chuan to register for the singing competition. Hopefully i wun backup the last min this time round .... Nt hoping to win anything , just going to go there learn frm the others and probably make a frd or two ... Hmmz hopefully it goes on smoothly.
Sat went frm ktv frm 7 onwards wif zhenru , cheryl and dingze at kbox cineleisure , find tht the service standards has improved slightly ...... much better than the one at selegie .... Then at ard 10 plus had dinner at Glutton square wif jiehao and dingze .... The queue was as bad as reported on the news .... probably only for the more popular stalls like Hokkien Mee or Fried Oyster ba ..... Had goreng pisang and Hokkien Mee nia ... after a veri long wait ..... Cs and Jason joined us soon and we went to catch a midnight show at 1.50am , The Secret Window ... I find the show rather lame actually .... nt gonna elaborate much bout it for the benefit of pple intending to watch it soon .... Hmmz took NR1 back home and reached only at 4,30am ....zzzz .......
Sun went wild wild wet @ pasir ris wif ding and chun hwee ...... i tink the first half of the day was wasted cos we played none of the rides except the lame "on the air cyling " which is basically bo liao ..... It was only after the rain that we started on the rides ..... The 3 of us tried the 7 man slide down "Ooo-La-La", the blackhole lookalike (forgot the name) . And finally to end the day, i tried the Slide-up ride on my own wif another stranger .....Hmmz was quite fun i would say but at the same time feel there wasn't much variety there .... definitely much smaller than fantasy island wif fewer choices of slides.
Coming outta the topic of my recent events ......
Olympics have started on fri nite in athens ...... Singapore just had a major win last nite .. with ronald susilo beating Lin Dan a top seed frm the chinese team .... I'm hoping tht the badminton and table tennis players could get at least a bronze ..... I guess if they really did .... dozens of s'poreans would again be bringing up the topic bout foreign and local born players .... isn't life contradicting ? Let the olympic spirit goes on ........
